- Hi All, I'm hoping that someone can shed some light on this rather frustrating situation, I'll try to be brief: I have a U20 with old style solex's, I was originally having trouble with a compression

- The only thing I can think of is that you have a vacuum leak somewhere. Have you tried the old " spray carb cleaner around the gaskets" trick? Did you inspect the carb when you took it off... looking

- I've also tried carb cleaner - hoping for the quick fix in a can When I had the carb off and apart (partially apart), I did find a tear in the gasket for the plate covering the jets - which I replace

- Tricks? Nope I can't help you there. I looked over the exploded picture of the carb looking for possible places to leak. My guess remains with a missing or worn throttle shaft seal, or a bent shaft a
