given the rusyt condition of the 'bleeding screw' I would go ahead and remove the transmission tunnel. You will then have excelent access (and leverage) to the screw. adam

Concerning the idea of putting a Mk IV OD tranny into a 1980 1500 spitfire, I was cuious about the 10 v. 20 spline input shaft business. Does this have an effect or does it only matter to the clutch?
