I don't want to get into this discussion as I think it is counter
productive to the sport,  BUT,

I rub elbows with a good number of folks as SOVERN's chief steward,
announcer for the Race at the Base and as an SCCA National Driver and my
experience is that the people with the rarest cars and the most money
whine the least, at least in vintage.

Not necessarly so in SCCA national competition, however.  There the
whiners run the gammet, rich to poor.
