Jonmac,
Thank you for this very nice, very touching tribute and deserved honour. As=
a "Marquess" I believe Randall would have been considered to be a Nobleman=
, a man who consistently demonstrated honourable behaviour and leadership, =
among other excellent attributes. This was indeed Randall, a good and decen=
t man, always gracious, honorable and supportive. Randall freely shared his=
knowledge, insight and enthusiasm for all things Triumph in a way that nev=
er left anyone involved with Triumph's feeling subtly disparaged, or looked=
down on for their lack of knowledge or experience. Especially when one of =
us is confused by some mysterious Triumph ailment, often related to the dub=
ious quality of Lucas devices and methodology.
I truly and sadly miss Randall's emails and insight, his kindness and his u=
nending thoughtful explanations. I feel like something is missing from our =
Triumph community, a true a one of a kind, who cannot be replaced.
>From Randall's obituary: "Close family and friends of Mr. Randall C. Young =
will gather in the Vienna Public Cemetery, (Vienna Missouri) near the grave=
s of his parents, for his interment at 10:30 a.m., on Tuesday, August 18, 2=
020 by the Birmingham-Martin Funeral Home in Vienna."
Randall's obituary, including the option of lighting a candle in his memory=
and leaving a message for his family is here: https://www.birminghammartin=

I miss him.
