Thanks Steven! Major blunder on my part.. You are right: TR4 standard tranny 'speedo drive' is on lower left of a non-OD tranny. And rubber boot on right of transmission cover lines up perfectly with 'OD tranny speedo drive'. Thanks for catching my mistake! Carl '63 TR4 since '74 << Carl, the non-overdrive version comes off the left side allowing for a short run for LHD cars. Maybe you have an overdrive gearbox and never noticed? ;) The rubber boot is for the overdrive cable. >> |
