My recommendation is :

Herman van den Akker
2100 Freeman Drive
Frazier Park, CA
661-242-1253
handhvan@msn.com

Herman is "retired", but he does fine work and stands behind it. He's not
always quick, especially if he has to wait on parts to come in. (I've waited
for months for him to find NOS synchro rings ... he won't use new ones since
he's had them come back several times ... finally bought some on my own on
eBay.) But, his prices are more than fair and his work is absolutely
outstanding. If you're going to ship the tranny to him via UPS, ask him
about borrowing his shipping crate. It's well made, and designed to meet
UPS shipping requirements.

NFI, just a satisfied customer

Randall
