I ordered the longer version of the belts, and to me they are too long for
the front seats. They work out, but just barely, and with a whole lot of
leftover length. I bought their little retractor wheel and that definitely
helps a lot. On my list of things to do "one of these days" is find a shop
that can trim them down a bit. I had always regretted not having gone with
the shorter belts --- but after reading your email maybe neither is the
perfect fit.

David,

I ordered 60" belts because I didn't want a lot of excess material flopping
around, but they are too short. Of course the rear mountings are pretty far
back and I have the seat up a bit, but I am not that large a person and I
use up all the belt there is and have to keep it under a heavy jacket. My
wife is also always grousing about the belt being too short and gets after
me to replace them. Of course, I don't mention the alternative.......

I mounted them through the floor with the hardware that came with them,
basically a bolt, nut, and large washer.
