My Mother-in-law was way luckier with a Saturn dealer. She picked her (not
in warrantee) Saturn up from the dealer after an oil change. The engine
light went on just as the car died. The dealer towed the car back to the
dealer, and gave her a brand-new Ion to drive. When she called up several
days later to see what was the deal, the manager told her that her new
engine was on its way from the factory and they would be installing it at no
charge. She should just keep driving the new Ion in the meantime. Seems
the tech forgot to put the new oil in the car...
