I only had my first car for a week... It was a 1940 Ford Coupe I bought from a neighbor. He couldn't find the title when the money changed hands but wrote me a bill of sale. A week later he had a change of heart and wanted the Ford back... I never got to Drive the car. My second was a 1960 Renault Dauphine the "Roach". After doing 3 head gasket jobs in about 6 months I went American. My next car was a 1949 Chrysler Windsor Town Car. When it came to double dating ole "Greedy Guts" was tops! Inside it was a living room! It was the classic "little old lady" car. As good as it looked, inside and out the motor was tired. It got 20 miles per gallon and 200 mile per quart. Greg Petrolati Champaign, Illinois 1962 TR4 (CT4852L) That's not a leak... My car's just marking its territory... _________________________________________________________________ MSN 8: advanced junk mail protection and 2 months FREE*. /// triumphs@autox.team.net mailing list /// or try http://www.team.net/cgi-bin/majorcool /// Archives at http://www.team.net/archive |
