I like it too. This past Sunday my buddy and I hosted our third annual
"Sports Cars at Stony Run". On the lawn of a country hotel/bar/restaurant
north of Kutztown,PA.
The hotel lets us use their lawn for free, knowing that many of us will spend
money in the bar/restaurant. We spend VERY little money and effort on
advertising. Soo........
it's a FREE event! Just show up!
The only cars that came on trailers were all-out race cars.
The Hotel donates a $35 gift certificate for the "Best of Show". Picking
the winner is no fun. No fun at all. To me, every car there was a "winner"
in some way. I think maybe next year we'll just have a drawing for the
prize.....
I'm not sure of the date for next year, but May 4 is looking very likely.
I'll try to remember to notify the list next year...;.
