Randall,
I will look for a mechanical gage at my local parts store. If I don't see
one, I will forgo the temperature gage in the initial start up.
I have another question concerning my coil. There was no coil on the engine
when I got the car but there was a Lucas coil in the parts box. I know it's
not the one that was on the car because it was too big to fit in the bracket
on the side of the block. On the number on the bottom is:
12V
SA12
45058L
73
Will I have a problem if I use this coil?
