Hello Rob,
Try another shop to mount your tires. You should have no trouble using
tubeless tires
on the stock TR-6 rim.
However, I would like to mention that your choice of tire size may not be as
close to
the stock diameter as you think. By my calculations, 195/60-15's will be an
inch
shorter in radius (2" in overall height) compared to the stock red-line. I
recommend
using 205/70-15's as that size in nearly identical to the stock red-line rolling
radius. There is nothing wrong with using a smaller diameter tire, but as
Scott said,
your speedometer will be off - reading higher than your actual speed as a
result of the
smaller diameter.
