>My PDWA in my 69 GT6 Plus has been leaking ever since I took it apart and
cleaned it out. I have looked everywhere for new o-rings including the
Triumph suppliers, Home Depot and an o-ring manufacture. Since I'm unable
to get new o-rings I'm thinking of taking out the sensor and plugging up
the
hole with a bolt. Does anyone have a good reason why I should not plug up
the hole other than the fact that the warning light will not work?

Last year Gary Klein posted to the list regarding PDWA o-rings. He found
that a supplier that has them, but only in fairly large packages. Gary
bought a pack, and sold the extras to list members to recoup his investment.
Don't know if he has any left, or if he's still on the list or at the same
e-mail address, but presumably AP&G stil carries them. Gary's post from
last year is included below.
Good luck!

Subject: PDWA "EP" O-Rings
Scions,
I received my order of Ethylene Propylene (EP) O-Rings from AP&G today.
As I
stated, they had a minimum order I'm willing to sell my spares to
interested list
members for only my cost plus postage. I've got 24 to sell.
>From my earlier post, these rings will fit later model PDWA valves.
They have a
Cross-Section (width) of 0.070" +or- 0.003" and an Inner Diameter range
from
Minimum of .234", Mean of 0.239" and a Maximum of 0.244. The part
number for
these rings, which can be verified from the PSP website is Series 000,
Size -010.
