Jack,

Thanks. I actually have already sent a check to NJTA.

I already have insurance with Hagerty, but could you tell me about this
company NJ Manufaturers? I think I will be signing up with a company called
Palisades for my daily driver, but I am open to change.

  Steve,

For starters on at least one local club and some of the events check out:

then, please feel free to ask any questions, but I'm biased; I maintain
the
  site. ;-)

With regard to registration and insurance, think about all the national
insurers; Haggerty, Parish..... Regular, "QQ" historic plates and
collectors registrations has already been covered by others, which I
appreciate as I have regular plates and wanted to get the info on the
  collector registration. It sounds great.

Also, if the company you are joining provides access to NJ Manufacturers
insurance (for your non-classic cars & home) look no further, they are the
cream of the crop in NJ, BUT your company must be a member and you must
have a clean record to sign up.
