Hate to disagree But my Stag tach (right in front om me) does not look
anything like my TR4 tach (sitting about 30 feet away in the garage). The
faces are completely different and I think the outer dimensions of the case
are also different (again the Stag tach is here on the table and I took apart
and cleaned the TR4 tach about 6 months ago). Also that does not take into
account the fact that the Stag tach is electronic and the TR4 tach is
mechanical. Apples and oranges -- as the saying goes.

I have seen a scanned picture of one type 2.5 saloon V-6 tach (from Dean in
NZ) but the face is completely different from my Stag V8 tach. However,
Peter, there might be another type V6 tach from a 2000/2500 etc. that would
do. So - I'm still on the case. Thanks to both of you for the input.
Cheers.
