Sorry, I you definitely have to remove the head. But it's only about 4
- 5
hours of work :-) Besides if your cam is worn, there is a good chance you
might need some head work also. You might think about new guides and valve
seats. I would also check the Rocker Arm shaft. Mine was very worn when I
changed thecam. I think it is very common on engines with 70,000+ miles to
have worn shafts.
