WRT to grafting together a TR4 and a TR6 tub...

I've seen a Triumph TR4/TR6 graft job here in the Northeast, last time I
recall seeing it was in the 1994 time-frame, but it could have been 93.

It is most do-able

As for the hood, I would guess that the TR250 hood is required.

Unless you want to put in a big hood bulge! I would reccommend the "tear
drop" style.
