Carl, on early TR2-3 cars, there were 2 locking screws on each side, sort of
like slotted head dzus fasteners, that allowed you to unlock and slide the
windshield forward  and off.

Later cars deleted this feature, and had the stanchions screw directly to the
scuttle.
