     I know when I called the locksmith for an ignition key, he didn't have 
     a blank. I'm going to try a different locksmith.

Jeff,  - keep it simple - keys are available.  Take a look at the lock and see 
if there is a number stamped on it.  The number tells you what the tumbler 
configuration is. A key can then be bought for it.  Which car are you talking
