I sure would like to find a definitve answer to this K&N thing. I just
purchased a Mustang, but I don't remember seeing a similar message on my
air box. K&N says that their filter will not affect the warranty on my
Mustang. Sure sounds like they are wrong. I wanted to place K&N's on my
70 GT6+ engine in the Spit6. I'll bet the GT6+ engine is MUCH less
sensitive to any silicates that do find their way through the filter.
