It works, really.  I was a little worried about the leakage factor too, 
but I figured that if I do get that problem, I could limit it by
tilting the bottle momentarily so that the inside of the needle (and the 
joint between the bottle & the pin) is coated with oil... the oil will not
be forced out as easily as the air.

I did miss it in the parts store, but I feel like I've accomplished
something here- let me at least enjoy that, eh?  (It seems so rare!)
