Hi Mike,

I have recently been down this road with the Brake M/C. I ended up having
Apple re sleeve it and it has worked out great....once I got the right size
seals (long story). I think it cost $95.00 to have it sleeved while a complete
rebuild would have cost $135.00. If I had it to do over again I would buy the
rebuilt unit and be done with it. I thought that since I already had the
rebuild kit I would save the additional cost of the rebuilt unit and just get
it sleeved. Well it turned out that I needed a larger rebuild kit (my M/C was
from a TR6 I learned) so I ended up spending more money and time in the end. I
believe the rebuilt units are off the shelf and you exchange yours with them.
Much faster than shipping your unit to them (4 days), they sleeve it (3 days),
and then return it to you (4 days).

Just my $.02 worth
