It has to do with balance. Drive shafts are balanced after manufacture, regular car manufactures do it but not to a high end. If you put it in different there is a good chance you would have a vibration. Some folks take the shaft to a shop that specializes in prop shafts, they can balance one to very well. It sort of depends on how fast the shaft will ultimately turn and how much money you got ! |
