Thanks,
I've recieved a lot of help from Michael Porter on this issue off the list,
and I've decided to go for either dual SU's or dual Strombergs.
It seems that since I've got an eight port head I have to have dual webers
and frankly I cannot afford that right now.
Unfortunatly, for me that is, I've already bought myself a weber 40DCOE.
Maybe I'll keep it and do it in the future, but I'll probably try to sell
it.
Anyway, I appreciate the help and information.

2 Weber DCOE 40 (I have these on mine) give you the maximum performance on a
modified spit engine. This system offers the maximum flow (hence best at
high
revs) with greates flexibility. (only trouble is you need a rolling road to
set
them up!)
1 Weber DCOE 45 (Which Laura has) is simpler, and may give better torque low
down, but becomes restrictive at high revs.
Cheers
