... and Liv, Laura- my wife Jean agrees with you both wholeheartedly on the
stick/auto issue! As we drove to Pizza Hut in the <shudder> minivan, she was
trying to explain to our oldest what the big deal was!

This is funny guys,
in my opinion, there is never a right or wrong answer to any of these 
car-related
questions, the answers are just different. We all have different needs for what
we want out of a car. No big deal at all. The only passion I have, beside my
husband that is, is for a good bottle of  french red wine........GRIN.
