Oh, btw-regarding the windsheild frame being chrome over brass-on the old Mercedes, all that lovely chrome trim was chrome over brass as brass takes chroming better. (Though it does look strange when I go to the shop and Dave is working on one of those old MB-and the chrome is all stripped and the trim is brass coloured!) (Hope my rear bumber over rider comes out nicely!) Laura G. |
