Nolan,
Personally, I have not been burned (maybe singed a little) by anyone on
either the Triumph or Spitfire lists. However, if somebody has had a
bad experience, I think it is very important that if it is not resolved
between the two parties, mention is made to the list to ensure that we
are not invaded by shady characters. That is one more good point about
these lists, we tend to "know" the people who are out there regularly.

A bit of list policing is good assurance that repeats of any shady
dealings don't happen.

My policy is to trust those names I see often as I hope they trust me in
my dealings. Any problems I have had have usually turned out to be
communications problems or emergencies that put the person out of touch
for a period. So far, so good!

But getting back to your question, I feel that the answer is YES, if
there is someone abusing the list by cheating its members, they should
be pointed out so others can avoid falling into that trap.

Regards,
Joe Curry
