I also have been burnt on the net over an oil rebuild kit. I sent the 30
bucks plus shipping and a little extra for the oil pump, received it after
about 6-8 weeks and 15 emails. I got a story about family troubles and the
like, which I accepted. When I received the oil pump rebuild kit, it was the
wrong one (not to mention that it was garbage, looked like it had been a pile
of rust and buffed off to sell to me, I would have never used it in a new
engine). I contacted him and asked if he wanted it back and give me a refund
or was I stuck with it. He was very nice and said he would refund my money
and so I sent the rebuild kit back. I have never received a check for my 30
bucks. I have sent at least 5 emails asking if the oil pump was received by
him, just so I know. I don't care about my 30 bucks, I've wasted more than
that on other things. I'm not going to say who this man is, but let's say
I've seen him offer hard to find items for sale on here lately (but if you
want to know, I'd be glad to tell you off list unless he admits some wrong
doing here). I hope i'm the only one he's screwed.

Just a little bit scared over internet dealings know...
