The wiper will only draw a finite amount of current, becuse of the resistance of the wires, even when stopped. I have stalled the wiper on my car and it didn't blow the fuse. All that happens is the coils get hotter, and the resisance of the coils gets more and the current goes down untill you reach an equalibrium. The current consumption of the motor when stalled will not be much more than normal. So you effectivly have a heather rated at somthing like 25 watts. Which for the heat dissupation size of the motor is very little. |
