Just had this done, when I was adding the return line for the fuel
injection, and enlarging the outlet to 3/8 inch. $70 was the cheapest
quote - As a side note, I was considering swapping out the tank for a later
"top" loader type (the one I have is an earlier tank with the outlet at the
bottom slightly larger capacity, the other "newer" one has the outlet at
the top, reduced capacity filler neck which I *removed*) I decided against
the newer tank because I noticed that the earlier tank has baffles welded
in, where as the newer tank didn't. Might be a worthwhile replacement for
those performance minded individuals :-)
