Actually, Mr. GT6 likes to play this game with me-points to some car and
asks, "Wouldn't you trade Nigel for...?" You fill in the blank. And always
my answer is "no". Even if I trade for something like a Boxster-his
reasoning being that I could then sell the Porsche and buy a dozen
Spitfires-the answer is always "no". Why? There's only one Nigel. He is the
Spitfire I always dreamed of owning! We two are as one and I shall never
give him up! (Though someday I would like to add a brother or sister -say a
Spitfire 4 or MkI)
Or as I like to put it to MR GT6- "You are but a man and can be replaced,
but Nigel I love."
What a warm hearted girlfriend, eh? And this is why I could only be with
another Triumph/Car fanatic...
