Can it be welded in place? There is no future reason to remove it. Only down=
side is if the welding doesn=E2=80=99t go well they will need to replace the=
 whole thing. That goop the tech put on may be a bitch to take off for weldi=
ng.=20

Either way, it would be good to do some research to see what a good replacem=
ent would be for down the road.=20
