Ok, lets try and put an end to this topic once and for all. I'm sure we both
have more interesting issues and non-issues to discuss on this board.

I want to reiterate to everyone that the only "problem" with the kit is that
it doesn't come with two small sheet metal screws to mount the antenna to the
body panel....which you wouldn't want to do anyhow...as it would be better to
bolt it to the body panel. It comes with DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS, and a DIAGRAM
to follow to show the assembly of the antenna. It's just a couple of screws,
washers, and two mounting brackets. It took me all of two minutes to assemble
it and I had never assembled it before. This whole thing has been blown way
out of proportion. There is nothing wrong with the kit. We don't make the
kit...but....I have recommended to the supplier to put 2 sheet metal screws in
the kit in case the user wants to mount it that way to the body panel. Year to
date I have sold 172 of these antennas and have not had one complaint. We
have been selling this particular antenna for years.

Again....there is nothing wrong with the parts used to assemble the antenna or
the instructions and diagram that go with it. If there was an issue I would
pull the kit and fix the problem.

Hello all,

I am another very happy customer of Chevy Duty. There service has been
great, they offer more of what I am usually looking for and have good
prices.

Anyone of us can have a specific problem with a specific part. Please don't
let this hurt the reputation of my favorite supplier of old chevy truck
parts.

Thanks for listening,

Stephen Brisken
