My Edelbrock 600 WAS only one step off perfect out of the box. Just a slight
stumble off-idle. One step richer on the metering rods and springs, and I
haven't touched it in years. The manual that comes with the Edelbrock is
adequate to resolve most any tuning question that comes up, but just to
confirm, I called their 800 tech line who nailed it perfectly. This is a
great help to a carburetion novice.
