Just bought a Hobart Handler 135 to do my patch panels. I also picked up a bottle of autoweld gas and a roll of ER70-6 in .023, sure makes a nice bead. I have to replace the cab corners and lower side cowls both sides. My question is do I cut out the old corners and cowls exactly the same shape as the new ones or do I leave enough to do a lap weld, I'm not as much a body man as I am a certified mig welder any suggestions appreciated.
