Correct me if I am wrong here=2C some owners removed the original metal fan=
blades because of the possibility of breakage=2C they then replaced it wit=
h a plastic "Texas Cooler" that also breaks because it was possibly made in=
China or by someone who was at some point the lowest bidder for the job. I=
think one is better off to stay with the original ones=2C they are no wors=
e=2C that's for sure.=20
In many cases the original was replaced in order to keep the car cooler in =
warm southern climates.=20
I don't live in very warm climate such as Texas or Arizona but it can get p=
retty hot in summer=2C I installed a four core radiator=2C an original styl=
e sleeved thermostat and put back the original blades after sanding them=2C=
checking for cracks and repainting them then check them every three years=
=2C been OK for the last 24 years=2C I'll stick with that.=20
