Uh, but the industry standard 1156 is a single element 21 watt bulb. Perhaps
you meant the 1157  (21/5).

My first thought  was that these bulbs and auto trans will not mix. Holding
the brake at long lights would melt the lens. Would melt the light panel
pcb's and connetors on cars so equipped (only lcb is XJ-40). And, I certainly
don't want to be looking at these things at night. For reference, standard
halogen headlight hi-beams are 55 watt.

 Of course, my seond thought was that my Lancia could sure use a set of these.
Would go really nice with the 4x100 watt headlights. :>
