Jim,
It all depends upon what kind of flux you used. If it is acid based you are
in trouble. If it is resin based you are fine. All elecrical solder
connections should be done with a resin based flux. These days, you have to
go out of your way to find acid based flux, so chances are you used the correct
stuff.
Crimped wires pull loose, and the connections can corrode. The only thing I
crip is connector pins. I solder connections whenever possible.
So next time you see the ol restorer, tell him that modern material insulation
will still be on near your rosin fluxed solder joints long after many of his
connections have pulled loose or corroded to the point of intermittent contact.
