Like most of the net I to prefer to solder as many connections as possible. I've found the best way to link electrons is to use those non insulated crimps and once the two ends are crimped fuse the whole mess together with some solder. I've never needed to use flux. Then finish the connection with some shrink tubing. Dont use electrical tape that stuff su Well you know what I mean.....:-) And one other thing is to use tie raps so wires aren't bouncing around.
