Robert.Bownes asks;

-> How many SOLers have named cars? Some of ours are named, others just
-> sort of referred to. My fiancee's 79 Midget is lovingly called "Biscuit"
-> (guess what color the interior is), while my 68 MGB is simply known as
-> "race car". Me mum had a Renault Dauphine name "Funky Winkerbean", and
-> my Renault R-10 is "Louis".

My 79 Midget is named "Mijo" (alliteration of Spanish "Mi ijo" (my son)),
although my children prefer to call it "Chitty-chitty-bang-bang".
My wife's van is of course, "Mija" (my daughter). And I used to own
a Mini 850 which was called, obviously, "Morris".

Had lunch the other day with Jim Muller, and finally got to meet (and drive!)
"Percy", his '80 Spitfire.
