Flimsy cardboard in a Triumph? Firstly, I though we were talking about a Spitfire 1500, not a Midget. If it's a Midget 1500, just forget I said anything... I don't know about on the bigger TR's, but even a Spitfire 1500 has the front end of the driveshaft covered by a metal plate. And anyway, you'd want to crawl up underneath, no? You can check driveshaft bolts and such that way, no? Of did the Midget come with a non-replaceable driveshaft; when it wears out, you just throw the car away?? :-) Jim |
