Actually, that was entirely deliberate.  Note that the "To:" line was 
the SEB and the CC line was the CM list.  It was intended as a message 
to the SEB which was cc'ed to the interested group.

Many people have abused my 85F as a very poor Formula Ford.  It is 
regarded as the worst Reynard ever and a "poor choice".  They are quite 
cheap compared to the current generation of cars that are competitive in 
Formula Ford on the track.

My car is now the 2003 CM champion car, and I had it in 3rd place until 
I drove like a wimp on the 2nd day.  I'm very new to CM, somewhat new to 
rear wheel drive, and don't have a Mark Daddio like record or 
reputation.  I do believe that nationally competitive CM cars can be 
inexpensive.

Actually, the comment wasn't about change over time, but change from 
GCR.  BM is supposed to be a GCR class, but I believe that many of the 
top BM cars, perhaps the Atlantics in particular, are not GCR spec with 
respect to weights and motors.  I could be not entirely informed about this.
