Kendall, and Co.---I mistakenly thought that the black hose coming thru
the firewall (at the gas pedal) was my oil pressure line. In truth, I
had used this grommeted hole to feed an MDS timing control line to the
dash center.
The oil line crosses over the MSD and comes out where everyone else's
does...thru a grommet next to the speedo cable entry on the firewall.
Sorry about that.

Firewall Grommet
Thanks to everyone who responded to my firewall grommet inquiry, it
generated more discussion than I had anticipated.

The consensus is that the tach cable is intended to route through that
hole and in some cases the oil pressure line feed through there as well.
I guess it's hard to guess what's up for debate on our cars :)

Kendall and Co.---On my '73, both the oil pressure line to the gauge AND
the tach cable go thru the grommet down by the gas pedal. (Always did).
