Hi Listers,
After converting my tranny(van den Akker) I noticed a definate vibration
at 60mph@ 3000+ rpm. Some call it harmonic vibration. After talking to
Herman, he advised me to rotate the driveshaft 180degrees ( maybe I
incorrectly installed the shaft).
Well it worked . . . much to my relief!!! I guess it's a common
troubleshooting technique. However, I also noticed that my rpms
DECREASED especially in 4th and 5th gears. I'm not sure why this is.
Mind you now, I'm NOT complaining.
I'm now doing about 26k at 60mph and just about 29k at 70mph.
Does anyone know why I'm doing better on the rpms AFTER the correction?
