Chris and List:

I also have a '69 TR6, CC30689L. It was built, according the BMIHT
certificate, on June 17, 1969. I noted your comment regarding the
windscreen frame painted in black. I always thought that the windscreen
frame on the early cars was painted in body color. My car is now painted
white (originally it was laurel green) the windscreen frame is also painted
white. It thought this was correct for the model year.

The original owner sent me a couple of photos taken in 1974 of the car in
it's original trim and the frame does indeed appear to be black. How does
this item jive with other early cars out there? Yikes! Now what am I gonna
do?

Thanks and best regards,
Walt Fogle
