The rocker cover became painted along with quite a few other changes for the
1970 model range, from CP/CC50001 (along with the wheel change and
windscreen painting). The production figures state that CC26000s were built
in late '68 and had chrome rocker covers. Someone somewhere with a late
model six with a nice shiny valve cover ?
