Bob---New seals included in the MC rebuild kit is sometimes enough to
get a firm brake pedal back. Every five years or so I run a brake honer
down thru the (two) bores in the MC to clean up any pitting that can
take place over so many years. After the honing, I use Crocus cloth to
give the bores the final polish. I still have the original unit, working
good.
