Thanks guys for all the advice re the heater problem. New question: should
my overdrive switch flip up or down to egage the overdrive? Mine engages
when I flip the lever down. It is a rebuilt switch. It thought that the
drivers manual described flipping it up to engage the unit. Am I wrong in
assumming that someone may have wired it wrong? Thoughts? Also, my car has
air, which I am told was usually dealer installed. Did any of the late cars
have factory installed air? How could I tell the difference? Would my car
have had a different ratio in the differential because of the
air.....remember that in the 70's American muscle cars usually had taller
gear ratios when you ordered air( and thus suffered from a loss of
performance). If I removed the compressor and air hookups, would I gain
performance?
