You guys have to consider Ron is most likely running a scatter pattern
cam...so all things are NOT equal.

Also, he may have a vernier cam gear, so the fix is relatively easy.

Easier than that just run it with the wires switched.  How many races
do you get from a motor?  You'll have it apart soon anyway.
