Another note to add to this threa. . .er. . . series. When I was going to
travel in France a few years ago, I was warned by several people who had been
there before me, including a French Teacher, that the people in France are
rude and unfriendly. When I visited, I found them charming and
friendly--having received help from them in several incidences I won't go
into now. I formed the conclusion that "you get what you take" when it comes
to people.
I have found that when I am among other car owners, Big Healey or any other
marque, I truly try to project the fact that my car is every bit as good as
their car--because it IS! I think that a projection of excellence fosters an
acceptance of excellence. If some fail to accept this projection, then they
are smaller than we are and don't deserve the time anyway. Just my loose
change!! 8^)
